Rebecca’s seminar, titled “If you Had a Million Dollars” focuses on how $1 million dollar websites are built and how to leverage those tactics and industry best-practices to an e-business environment of any size.

Karner Blue Marketing joins Union College Incubator program, “U-Start”.
Karner Blue Marketing has joined the U-Start incubator, located in Schenectady, NY to enable Karner Blue Marketing to better serve it’s Tech Vally clients while expanding it’s local presence. Karner Blue Marketing will continue to work with companies outside the capital region, in fact some of our most interesting inquiries to date have come to us from outside the area” said Rebecca Murtagh, founder and chief strategist of Karner Blue Marketing, “but having made numerous contributions to the Tech Valley iniative in it’s early days and a sincere desire to become more connected with the entrepreneurs of the area, this will help us continue to connect with the professional community in the region. Rebecca Murtagh, founder and chief strategist of Karner Blue Marketing of Albany, NY has been invited to return as one of the Web Marketing Association’s “WebAwards” distinguished expert judges. The competition judges website submissions from over 78 categories of websites built for industry, government, not-for-profit among others. “WebAward” entries are submitted by interactive agencies, website owners, or in-house marketing and e-commerce departments from more than 19 countries worldwide.

Karner Blue Marketing hosts it’s first Holiday Open House in conjunction with the U-Start Incubator Open House on December 16, 2004. Local businesses, media, clients and vendors were present to celebrate the holidays while Karner Blue Marketing welcomed clients and vendors with champagne and light fare to show appreciation for their support during the past year.
Karner Blue Marketing donates CD Cover and insert design and marketing services for Christian Music CD “24/7” to be released by worshipteam.org, a ministry of Grace Fellowship Church in Latham, NY. The CD will be released in February 2005.
Tech Valley marketing firm, Karner Blue Marketing launches its January series of Website and Search Engine Marketing Seminars comprised of six sessions slated to take place January 11 – January 20 at Karner Blue Marketing’s Schenectady office. Karner Blue is located at the Union College U-Start Incubator, 2 Nott Terrace (corner of Nott Terrace and Union Ave) in Schenectady, NY. These seminars are free to Karner Blue clients and also open to the public.
Each seminar will consist of an hour-long lecture and a one hour discussion period focusing on different ways to leverage your web presence to maximize the return your business sees in terms of growth, sales, traffic and the conversion of visitors to customers. The seminars will cover topics such as: Website Optimization 101, Search Engine Optimization 101, Interpreting Website Statistics 101, and How To Improve Search Engine Performance.
